Overview
This document provides step-by-step instructions for viewing grades on Canvas. It is especially helpful for freshman or any students unfamiliar with the platform.
Canvas is a learning management system that supports communication and interaction between students and instructors. Grades and feedback from professors are posted directly on Canvas, allowing students to easily track their academic progress.
Procedure
Step 1:
To access Canvas the user must first log in to my.NMSU.edu account.
Step 2:
On the my.NMSU homepage, navigate to the launchpad on the left side of the screen and click Learn.nmsu.edu (Canvas).
Step 3:
Click on the Courses tab on the left side of the screen to view registered courses.
Step 4:
Select the "Course" you wish to view grades.
Step 5:
Click on Grades to view grades for the selected course.
Step 6:
View grades on the "bottom right" or "right hand top corner" of the Grades display pane.
