Overview

The NMSU's Information Technology (IT) Department offers an Equipment Rental Program for main campus students, facutly and staff. This program provides access to a variety of technology resources to support academic and professional needs. Below you'l find helpful links with information on how to make a reservation, view pricing, and find details about pick-up and drop-off times and locations. 

Before you begin

To get started, visit the Student Technology page at studenttech.nmsu.edu and select the Equipment Rental tab from the top menu. This will take you to the main page where you can explore available items, review rental terms, and begin your reservation.

Procedure

Reserve Equipment

To reserve equipment, you’ll need to complete an Equipment Reservation form online. This short form requires your name, student ID number, address, and contact information.

Available Equipment and Fees

A list of available equipment and the fees for each rental period can be found on the Student Technology website. Please note that fees are subject to change each semester.

If you have additional questions, visit the Equipment Rental FAQ page. There, you’ll find answers to common questions such as what types of equipment are available, how long items can be rented, and the location and hours of the Equipment Rental Program.
 

Pickup and Return Information

We are located in Hardman & Jacobs Undergraduate Learning Center (HJLC) room 103 and only rent equipment to NMSU Main Campus/Global/DACC students, faculty, and staff.
