Overview

The myNMSU portal provides students with essential tools to manage their academic activities, including browsing available classes and preparing for the upcoming semesters.

Procedure

 

Step 1:

Visit my.nmsu.edu and sign in with your “NMSU email” and “Password,” then click Next.

Step 2:

Navigate to the Academics tab and locate the Student Self-Service card.

Click Open Student Dashboard to proceed.

Step 3:

You will be redirected to the Student Services page

Under Student Registration, Click Class Search to proceed.

Step 4:

On the Select a Term page, click on the dropdown menu to choose your desired term, then click Continue.

Step 5:

Select your admitted campus from the list, then click Search.

Browse Classes search criteria

Note: You may enter additional criteria to narrow your search.
When entering a course number, include any associated letters (e.g., G, H, L, M, V).

You can also access more search options by clicking the Advanced Search link. Here are a few helpful tips:

  • To find General Education courses, enter "%G" in the Course Number field.

  • To find Viewing the Wider World courses, enter "%V" in the Course Number field.

  • For online courses, use the Schedule Type field to select one or more of the following:

    • Online with Synchronous Mtgs

    • Online with no Synchronous Mtgs

    • Online with In Person Mtgs
