Overview

Your Mac defaults to the language of the country or region where it was purchased, but you can change it to another language. For example, if you bought your Mac in the U.S. but work primarily in French, you can set the system language to French. You can also set different languages for individual apps for instance, using English for a specific app while your system language is Simplified Chinese.
