Zoom- Installing the App

Overview

Zoom is a cloud-based platform that lets you host video and audio meetings, webinars, live chats, and even record your sessions.

Before you begin

Download and Install the Zoom Application:

  1. Go to www.zoom.us.download
  2. Click on the Download link that matches your computers operating system (e.g.,Windows, macOS)

  1. Once the file is downloaded, open your Downloads folder and double-click the file to start the installation. 
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. 
Procedure

Sign in using your NMSU credentials:


Step 1: 
Launch the Zoom Client/Workplace and choose Sign In.

 

Step 2: Select SSO to sign into the Zoom Client/Workplace.

 

Step 3: Enter the Company Domain, type “nmsu”. Then click Continue.

 

Step 4: Enter your full NMSU email address. Then click Continue.

 

Step 5: Your browser will open the NMSU Aggie Access sign in page.

              Use your NMSU credentials to sign in to NMSU Zoom.

Provides audio-visual support to users for in-person and online events, including assistance setting up microphones, projectors, and other Audio Visual Support systems for conferences, seminars, lectures, legislative meetings, convocation, or any other event that requires the use of multimedia equipment. There is no fee for this service but it is first come first serve. This includes setup/tear-down time as well as time spent at the event. All requests should be made at least 5 business days in advance.
