2FA- How to Add an Additional Device

Overview


Follow the steps below to add an additional device for Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) (up to 5 devices).
 

Procedure


Step 1:

Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info to access your NMSU/Microsoft Security Info Settings.

 

Step 2: 

Click "Add sign-in method".

 

Step 3:
When the pop-up appears, select Microsoft Authenticator.

 

Step 4:
Next, follow the on-screen instructions to set up your chosen method. For more information, refer to the Microsoft Authenticator FAQs.
