What Is It?
Distribution Groups allow users to send messages to a predefined group of recipients through a single email address. They are commonly used for general announcements, updates, or mass communication within organizations, departments, or project teams. This service allows users to request the creation of Distribution Groups for departmental and/or organizational use.
Who Is Eligible to Use It?
Only NMSU staff are eligible to request the creation of Distribution Groups for departmental and/or organizational use. NMSU faculty, staff, and students are eligible to request the creation of Listserv Email Lists. To submit a ticket requesting the creation of a Listserv Email List, please visit our corresponding Service Catalog entry.
How Do I Get Started?
Click on the "Request Distribution Groups" button above to request the creation of a Distribution Group. You will be prompted to enter your name, department, and full details of your ticket, including any appropriate circumstances or supplementary information that may aid in resolving it.
How Much Does It Cost?
There is no fee to request or maintain Distribution Groups for departmental or organizational use.
