Training Session Set-up Request

What Is It?

Training Central is the official training record for all NMSU employee training. 

This form is to add in-person training sessions to Training Central for registration.  This form assumes the course has already been loaded into Training Central.  If you are scheduling a new course, please complete the New Course template before submitting a Training Session Set-up Request. Please submit one session per ticket.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

Departments that provide training to any NMSU employee, including student employees.  If you are unsure whether your session should be added to Training Central, refer to the attached Training Definitions.

How Do I Get Started?

Click the  Request Service button above to submit a ticket. 

If you are scheduling a new course, please complete the New Course spreadsheet before submitting a Training Session Set-up Request.

Complete the Training Session Set-up request at least 2-weeks in advance of your training start date to allow adequate time for your session to be created and for participants to register.  Once entered in the system, the instructor will receive a notification that registration is open.  Marketing is the responsibility of the training department.

Virtual sessions (Teams or Zoom) are created automatically in the system.  The instructor will receive an email with login information.  Participants will receive login information in their registration confirmation email.  Reminders are sent to participants and instructors prior to the session.

How Much Does It Cost?

There is no cost to request this service.
