HPC stands for High Performance Computing Cluster. The cluster is a collection of computers, or nodes, that communicate using InfiniBand, This service allows users to request an account on NMSU’s HPC cluster, “Discovery.”
Who Is Eligible to Use It?
The High Performance Computing (HPC) cluster is free to use for current students, faculty, and staff for both research and teaching. Non-NMSU users sponsored by NMSU faculty or staff are also eligible to request an account on NMSU’s HPC cluster.
How Do I Get Started?
Click the “Account Request” button above to request an account on NMSU’s HPC cluster, “Discovery.” You will be prompted to enter your name, department, and full details of your ticket, including any supplemental details that may aid in resolving it.
How Much Does It Cost?
There is no fee to request an account on NMSU’s HPC cluster.
