Overview
Sometimes when you have access to a Shared Mailbox, you may need to open it separately from your main inbox. This article walks you through how to access the mailboxes you have access to should you need to do so.
Before you begin
Make sure you have access to the Shared Mailbox you are trying to access, if you do not have access, these steps will not work. To gain access to a shared mailbox, someone who already has access to it will need to fill out this service request.
Procedure
How to Open a Shared Mailbox
Step 1:
Navigate to https://mail.nmsu.edu/.

Step 2:
Click on your profile picture in the top right corner.

Step 3:
Click "Open another mailbox"

Step 4:
Type the email address of your shared mailbox, then select it from the menu below.

Step 5:
Click "Open".

Step 6:
A new tab should open with that shared mailbox for you to access it's emails, calendar, etc.
