Shared Mailbox

What Is It?

Shared Mailbox allows departments to request a centralized email address that multiple users can access. Team members can send and receive messages from this shared address while logged into their own NMSU accounts/email. This ensures secure, policy-compliant collaboration without sharing account credentials.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

Faculty and staff within a department are eligible to request a shared mailbox for departmental use. Access may only be granted to users within the same department or NMSU–affiliated faculty and staff.

How Do I Get Started?

Click the  Request Shared Mailbox button above to submit a ticket.

You will be asked to supply your name, department, and the requested mailbox name.

How Much Does It Cost?

There is no cost to request or create a shared mailbox at NMSU.
