Overview
NMSU students, staff, and faculty retain access to their email accounts for one (1) year after their affiliation with the university ends. After this period, your email account will be deactivated, and you will no longer have access to it.r
Procedure
For Students:
Your email account will remain active for one (1) year after the last day of your current admission.
For Staff/Faculty:
Your email account will remain active for one (1) year after the last date of your current employment.
Important:
To avoid losing access to important emails, forward any necessary messages from your NMSU account to an alternative email address before the retention period ends. Forwarding instructions can be found here.
