Device Registration for Network Access

What Is It?

This service allows you to connect your personal devices to the NMSU network. You’ll need to register each device before it can access the Internet or other campus resources.
Supported devices include laptops, phones, tablets, gaming systems, and other wired or wireless devices.

Before registering your device, please make sure to disable MAC Randomization on mobile devices by following these instructions.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

NMSU staff and students are eligible to register their devices to the campus network. 

How Do I Get Started?

To register your device, please click this link.

You’ll be prompted to enter your name, department, and a brief description of the issue. Include any details that may help the IT team resolve your request quickly.

If the self-service solutions did not resolve your issue, click the "Request Service" button on the right to submit a ticket to the IT Help Desk. 

How Much Does It Cost?

There is no cost to register your devices to the NMSU Network.
